The party journeyed to the Bottom Leaf Theater where Lancer McPinndepott greeted them at the entrance. He presumed the party was the requested investigators sent to the theater to look into the disappearances being experienced. Lancer told the party he was aware of 3 missing individuals over the past few months. He has given the party free reign of the Theater to perform the necessary investigations and decipher the reasoning behind the missing stage folk. The group discussed these matters in McPinndepott's office where Saif was able to pick up on a slight magical disturbance emanating from somewhere in the Theater, however, she was not able to pin point what or where.

After the meeting with Lancer, the party decided to head down to the main stage room where they encountered Joff and Abigail, two actors from the upcoming play. Joff acosted the group and stormed out after spewing racial hate towards 6. Abigail talked with the party in regards to the disappearances describing 4 people that she could think of in the past months. She seems to think that McPinndepott is a pretty decent guy and is unsure why he would have only mention 3 missing persons. She believes there is another that is more at fault than Lancer in regards to the disappearances, Cindry.

The party also met a lowly stagehand/janitor named Dwingle. He is as ancient as the Theater and was quite reluctant to bring the party to the basement. After some poking and prodding, the party discovered Dwingle likes to dabble in delicacies of the night and promised to bring them down once his visitor was vacated from the premises. He shares insight into McPinndepott and Cindry stating they are having an affair of sorts. He believes that Cindry is somehow connected to this disappearance business and shares that odd things have been occurring since her arrival to the Theater.

The party left Dwingle in search of Cindry in the upstairs hallway. When they met, the party pressed her on her relationship with McPinndepott and the missing persons. She told them that she has been taking private acting lessons and has been seeing Lancer on the side as well. She willingly shows the party a few documents demonstrating some outstanding debts of McPinndepott's. She also states that there was an agreement made to settle these debts through the collection of "bodies" in exchange for 25,000 gold pieces to be removed from the ledger.

At the end of our session, the party was investigating the authenticity of the debt documents provided by Cindry. Saif needs to make another investigation check to determine the outcome. |
