Starting off in McPinndepott's office the party continued a small discussion. Lancer told the party again he would set up the meeting with Commander Taylor and proceeded to put that plan in action.

The party stayed behind at the theater to investigate a few loose ends including McPinn's office space and the basement occupied by Dwingle.

||
|
||
While the party was exploring the theater, Odatina ran back to the Assassins Guild to explain the situation and collect on the amount owed. The guild master thanked her for her honesty and has promised to relayy the information back to the necessary parties. A pouch of gold was given in payment for the information and the pieces of Cindry that were collected. Afterwards, Odatina ran back to the theater and met the party in the basement.

In the basement of the theater, the party encountered several rooms filled with old props from previous productions. Dwingle's domicile was also discovered with Dwingle cowering next to his bed. He explained he encountered the mimic on the stage after hearing some strange sounds from above. He watched as McPinndepott was eaten alive and then cowered down here in his room. He seemed to be quite traumatized over the situation and after some rounds of questioning decided to lay down for a nap.

After finishing the basement spelunking the party moved back upstairs to meet McPinndepott and head towards their meeting. Along the way, a political rally was growing in the street. A man named _Hofta Baldwin_ presented a speech to the crowd urging them to vote for him during the Crown Elect election upcoming. Most of the language was centered around anti-automaton ideology and anti-Vexen messaging. He noted an opponent on the Vexen side named, _Frederich Von Hesten_.

Eventually, the party made their way to Commander Taylor's home which was a large manor towering in stature and broad in width compared to the surrounding mansions. Upon entering, the butler proceeded to show them the way to Taylor's sitting room. Taylor and Lancer exchanged a few negative words and afterwards Lancer was excused from the meeting. Upon his exit Taylor sprang into action and began fighting the party.

After the fight was diffused, Taylor asked the party to sit and chat for awhile about various ideas and thoughts on Baltun'ia. |
