Humans are one of the most widespread and adaptable species in the world. Unlike the long-lived [[Elves|elves]] or the deeply rooted traditions of the [[Dwarves|dwarves]], humans are known for their ambition, versatility, and resilience. They have built sprawling cities, nomadic clans, and warrior societies across every type of terrain, from icy tundras to burning deserts. While some civilizations have thrived for centuries, others rise and fall within a generation.
Human societies vary greatly depending on geography, with cultures shaped by their environment and history. Some value honor and warfare, while others prioritize trade, scholarship, or survivalism.
Humans are the most recent species to evolve across Baltun'ia. Commonly though of as the equivalent of "rats", or unsavory vermin, throughout the realm. These feelings are beginning to wain as their habitation and spread throughout the land becomes more permanent every year.
